Westmanstown Youth Rugby

Westmanstown Youth Rugby is now open for children under 7’s to under 12’s holds training every Sun-day from 11am to 12pm at Rugby pitches in Westmanstown Sports and Recreation Cen-tre.  All children welcome to come and train.   For further information contact Damien Maher: (086) 2458824 or Eamonn Henry (086) 8281781.

 
SMYG - St Mochta's Youth Group

St Mochta’s Youth Group (SMYG) runs every second Friday evening from 7.30 - 9.30pm at the Parish Pastoral Centre.  The Group is affiliated to Foroige.  It is open to young people from Secondary School age upwards. Watch our parish newsletter for news and events with SMYG.

National Youth Council of Ireland

The National Youth Council of Ireland is the representative body for national voluntary youth work organisations in Ireland. Is é Comhairle Náisiúnta na nÓg an eagras ionadaí­ochta an óige in Éirinn. It represents and supports the interests of 50 voluntary youth organisations and uses its collective experience to act on issues that impact on young people. It seeks to ensure that all young people are empowered to develop the skills and confidence to fully participate as active citizens in an inclusive society. NYCI's role is recognised in legislation through the Youth Work Act 2001 and as a Social Partner in the Community and Voluntary Pillar.
