Please find below the link to a message from Archbishop Dermot Farrell to the parents of children due to receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation this year. It expresses to all of us, parents, parish teams and schools the broad approach which is being taken across the Diocese for celebrating the ceremonies. He outlines that, ‘there is no pressure to celebrate the sacraments by any given deadline’, and encourages everyone to use this time of waiting to nurture our own and our children’s faith as they journey towards receiving the sacraments whenever they can be safely celebrated.
