Holy Week Timetable 2022
Palm Sunday—10th April
Vigil Mass—9th April at 6pm – Palms will be Blessed
Palm Sunday Masses at 10:30am and 12 noon.
Blessed Palms will be available in the church between 1pm and 7pm.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week Mass at 10am
Wednesday—Chrism Mass
Archbishop Dermot Farrell will celebrate the Chrism mass in the Pro-Cathedral on Wednesday 13th April at 7.30pm. You may join in at www.procathedral.ie. During the mass the Archbishop will Bless and Consecrate the Holy Oils for use in the sacraments throughout the Diocese in the coming year.
Holy Thursday—14th April – No Morning Mass
Solemn Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7.30pm followed by Watch and Pray.
Good Friday—15th April A Day of Fast and Abstinence
Children’s Stations of the Cross—12 noon.
Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion – 3pm
Church open for Private Prayer from 4pm
Prayer around the Cross at 8pm
Easter Vigil —16th April: 8pm on Easter Saturday
Easter Sunday—17th April: Masses at 10:30am and 12 noon.
The church is open for Private Prayer Monday to Friday 11-4pm
and Sunday 1pm to 7pm
