ROSARY AT THE GROTTO
Let us gather and pray during the month of May
to honour Our Lady and pray for her
intentions, pray for world peace, and pray for
our own personal intentions. In St. Thomas the
Apostle Church, Laurel Lodge at 5.30pm daily
in front of the statue of Our Lady in the Church carpark.
EASTER DUES
Thank you to all of you who returned the Easter Dues
envelope. The Easter Dues goes to support the
priests of the Diocese. The Diocese is completely
reliant on your generosity and a big thank you for
your continued support. Easter Dues envelopes
are available at the back of the church.
PILGRIMAGE TO LOUGH DERG
A 3 day pilgrimage to Lough Derg will take place
from Friday 4th July to Sunday 6th July. The group will
depart on Friday 4th at 8am from St. Mochta’s Church Courtyard.
24 HOUR PRAYER FOR PEACE
24 hours Pentecost Prayer for Peace Beginning on the
Solemnity of Pentecost, our Parish Partnership will have
24 hour Eucharistic Adoration and Prayer for Peace
based in St Thomas the Apostle Church Laurel Lodge.
Starting with 11.30am Mass in Laurel Lodge on 8th June,
prayer before the Blessed Sacrament will continue there all
day and night, and finish with Benediction after 10am Mass
on Monday 9th June. Sign Up! We are looking for people to
sign up from our parish to this mighty prayer event.
Each of our three parishes is taking care of at least 7 hours
out of the 24. We require a minimum of 3 people present for
the entirety of each hour, ideally a mix of male and female.
Please only sign up if you can definitely be there.
